Herning Opera Festival
27. aug. - 29. aug.
Herning
Sounds west of the Jutland ridge
Herning Opera Festival presents opera as you have never experienced it before. The festival takes opera out of the concert hall and presents it in entirely new places and in entirely new ways – it is opera for everyone, of the highest quality.
Many of the country's great opera singers travel to Herning this weekend to be part of this great opera celebration – for several of these opera singers it also means coming home. Herning has for many years been a dynamo for the development of singing in Denmark, and a number of the festival's opera singers were born and raised in the Herning area. What all the artists in the festival's programme have in common is that they are fabulous singers, and that they have all gladly accepted the invitation to come to Herning Opera festival.
See you again at Herning opera festival 27-29 August 2021.
