Aalborg Internationale Guitar Festival & Competition
14. nov. - 21. nov.
Aalborg
The biggest guitar festival in Denmark and now also the first classical international competition for solo guitar. At the concerts, genres such as Classical, Modern, jazz and Blues are played - yes, music for everyone - young and old. In the course weekend, masterclasses and workshops are offered for all levels. Most workshops include ensemble playing. Meet new guitar friends at a concert, a workshop or an exhibition.
The aim is, through concerts, competitions, workshops, sheet music and guitar exhibitions, to be a source of inspiration for everyone, whether you are a professional, a student, a teacher, a music fan and/or a happy amateur. The course programme includes a masterclass for students or professionals, a Talent class for young people under 18, Classical for young people 10+ and Adult classical for 18+. Workshops include solo teaching, group teaching and ensemble playing aimed at the different levels.
When rhythmic meets classical and amateurs meet and collaborate with professionals, a forum is created where boundaries are broken down and new networks are formed, including exchange of experience and collaboration across styles and countries.
