In the summer Søbygaards Venner hold the Søbygaard concerts with classical music, song and opera, as well as co-organising exhibitions at Søbygaard Ærø, and give the area's physical setting a cultural-historical content in keeping with the history of the place and of the whole of Ærø.
One of the concerts in the summer's programme is always held for the schools on Ærø, where classical music is introduced and presented to the children at their own level.
The Søbygaard concerts with classical music, song and opera began back in 2000 with 4 concerts and have since been held every summer on Ærø at the old manor house Søbygaard. An overview of previous years' Søbygaard concerts and concert posters can be seen here.
