2022 Theatre of Voices Festival
29. jul. - 31. jul.
Holbæk
On the last weekend of July you can experience a festival with music, film and talks in Holbæk Kommune with international guests and the Grammy-winning Danish vocal group Theatre of Voices. At the festival the work The Tree of Life by Nigel Osborne receives its world premiere with the Syrian oud player Rihab Azar as soloist.
The 2022 Theatre of Voices Festival offers exciting musical programmes in Skt. Nikolaj Kirke and Hørby Kirke, at Hørbygaard Gods and at Kunsthøjskolen in Holbæk. The music ranges widely from baroque music to newly written compositions - and a world premiere of a work written especially for the ensemble and the festival.
The festival is supported by Statens Kunstfond, Det Obelske Familiefond, William Demant Fonden, Wilhelm Hansen Fonden, Weyse Fonden, Korsangernes Fællesråd and others.
