Odsherreds Kammermusikfestival
30. jul. - 4. aug.
Dear audience
It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to our new website.
And an even greater pleasure to present the programme for this year's festival.
This year's festival theme is ‘Creative Power’.
The creative process is in focus: How and under what conditions did the musical works come into being when they were written – and how do they come into being today? There will be open rehearsals, where the audience can follow the musicians' work of giving the piece life. And there will be conversation salons with a composer and an author. Henrik Goldschmidt tells about his work on letting music break down boundaries. And the Swedish pianist Per Tengstrand shows his award-winning film: Beethoven – Freedom of the will.
But the most important thing is the concerts.
We have assembled a star-studded team of musicians, who will provide great experiences at the evening concerts.
Together with the musical stars, young talents from the Jacob Gade Endowment's talent programme will work and play at the afternoon concerts.
True to tradition, the festival ends with an outdoor opera concert, which this year presents a number of young talents from Operaakademiet.
