The programme has been put together by the new artistic leadership of Kammermusikfesten, two up-and-coming Danish musicians, the violist Nicholas Swensen and the violinist Adam Koch, who are for now engaged for the 2023-24 seasons, and who wish to combine the audience's craving for enjoyment with the desire to be surprised.
This year the duo has chosen the Finnish composer Lotta Wennäkoski as composer-in-residence, while Emil Vijgen has been selected as this year's composer talent, opening the festival with a world premiere.
