Copenhagen Baroque Festival
4. sep. - 10. sep.
København
Welcome to Copenhagen Baroque Festival! For the fifth year, a week-long festival is held, dedicated to celebrating and exploring the world of Baroque music. This year the programme is built around the theme “State of mind” and curiously examines how music can bring different feelings and states of mind to both the musicians and the audience.
At Copenhagen Baroque Festival you can immerse yourself in the enchanting aesthetics and sound world that Baroque music offers - surrounded by works from both before that era and right up to the present day. The festival takes place in some of Copenhagen's most beautiful buildings and is a unique opportunity to experience outstanding concerts, talented musicians and the rich heritage of Baroque music.
Copenhagen Baroque Festival brings together skilled musicians from all over the world who specialise in the Baroque repertoire and performance practice. Through their musical abilities and passion they bring the soul of Baroque music to life and create an unforgettable experience for the audience.
In addition to the concerts, Copenhagen Baroque Festival also arranges talks, giving both music lovers and curious souls the chance to delve deeper into the world of Baroque music. This year we have a particular focus on the recorder's place in music history, today's virtuosos and the coming generation of young talents.
Copenhagen Baroque Festival is not only an event for music lovers familiar with Baroque music, but also for everyone who wants to experience its timeless beauty and enjoy new musical experiences together with others.
Join us at Copenhagen Baroque Festival and be moved!
