Welcome To Frederiksberg Festspil 2024
This year's theme is Rituals
The performing arts are surrounded by rituals.
Audience and performers agree to solemnise a special moment; the concert, the performance, the dance or the execution.
The audience applauds – the artist enters – focus and intensity are created around the special moment in which we all let ourselves be transported into beauty, the mysterious or the uncanny.
For the 2024 festival we will stage masquerades, carnivals and works inspired by what happens when we stage our actions in words, dance or sound.
