Haydn Festival
6. sep. - 8. sep.
København
"By letting go of the musicians, the conductor Adam Fischer has brought them together and created an international success", writes Politiken's reviewer after the opening concert of our Haydn Festival.
Besides the symphonies we will play music by other composers of the period: solo concertos, opera and concert arias, overtures etc. And because Haydn was also the father of the string quartet, we shall of course also hear chamber music along the way. Haydn Festival is held annually until 2025. Every year we record four symphonies and invite you to a festival where Haydn's music gets the attention it deserves. From this year parts of the festival are repeated at Musikverein Graz in Austria, where we become the permanent orchestra at a new Austrian Haydn Festival.
