ORGELFESTIVAL
23. jan. - 26. jan.
Videbaek
The organ plays a quite central role in the life of the church – as an instrument that supports congregational singing and forms a central part of the service. And that
whether we are in a small village church or in a large city church.
It is good to listen to organ music. It is a joy to go to organ concerts, where you can experience, sense and discover how much this magnificent instrument can do.
In Denmark we have so many incredibly skilled organists, who master the instrument through years of practice and through their daily work in the country's churches.
It is a great joy that you at Herborg Kirke are now holding an organ festival. I can only encourage you to take part in the great musical experiences that will take place in January 2025.
Thank you to the organisers.
I wish you all a very good organ festival 2025
Kind regards
Elof Westergaard
Bishop of the Diocese of Ribe
