Welcome to Kammermusik i Præstø!
We are proud to be able to welcome you to the second edition of this beautiful festival in collaboration with so many of Præstø's players, and it is still completely incredible to us that what started as an idea between two friends over a beer has actually become what we now, for the second year running, have the opportunity to present to all of you.
The second edition of Kammermusik i Præstø also brings something new: this year we have been able to expand with even more musicians than last year, and besides a lot of fantastic string players we have oboe, clarinet, piano and harpsichord with us this year. We have managed to get some of our favourite musicians on board, and we are incredibly proud to present this varied and exciting programme.
At Kammermusik i Præstø you do not only come to a concert and see the finished product; you are also invited into the process and have the chance to get close to the individual musicians during the festival days. Just as you are invited to the Nachspiel, a family concert and a walk between the concerts.
And all of it right here in Præstø. We could not think of a better place to make this festival. We are happy to have put together programmes that mean that - no matter how little or how much you know about classical music - you are both taken by the hand and challenged during our no fewer than eight concerts and several other events.
