Nyborg Slotskoncerter has for decades been a cultural beacon in the heart of Denmark. We have a long and proud tradition of bringing world-class classical music to Nyborg - traditionally with the historic setting of Nyborg Slot as our home.
New setting - same high quality
Although Nyborg Slot is closed to the public in these years because of restoration, the music lives on in the best of health. We have moved the great musical experiences out into the town's other beautiful spaces:
Vor Frue Kirke: Here we hold the majority of our concerts, where the church's fantastic acoustics and beautiful architecture create a very special, solemn setting.
Bastionen: Selected concerts find their way to the town's cultural centre, Bastionen, which offers a more intimate and modern atmosphere.
Music, presence and community
An evening with Nyborg Slotskoncerter is more than "just" a concert; it is a complete experience of high artistic quality. We place great value on social community and want our guests to feel welcome and included.
That is why there is always an interval in our events, where we invite you to mingle and have a cosy chat. This is where we meet across the room, share our musical impressions and enjoy good company in a relaxed atmosphere.
