Enchanting baroque music, an inviting atmosphere, communal dining and folk dancing - all this you can experience at Camerata Øresund's Baroktoberfest: a festive and atmospheric festival where baroque music is allowed to blossom in the heart of Copenhagen.
Baroktoberfest is for all music lovers - both the dedicated baroque fans and those who are simply curious about new and exciting experiences. Here both the familiar and the forgotten gems of the baroque are given new life in a relaxed and cosy setting, where we mix baroque music with folk music, dance and delicious food.
At this year's festival we invite you to a series of atmospheric concerts - with everything from dancing folk tunes and rarely heard Bohemian baroque to big emotions in the music of Handel and Purcell. You can join the communal dinner, dance folk dances, take part in a music quiz, taste German pretzels - or simply enjoy the music with a glass of wine in your hand.
