Copenhagen Summer Festival wishes you a happy new year and presents the programme for the 2023 festival. Concerts with some of the best musicians among the rising generation of classical music. Both from Denmark and abroad. The period is 6 – 17 August 2023. Saturday-Sunday the concerts are at 16.30, Monday-Friday at 19.30. As in previous years, the concerts take place in Charlottenborgs Festsal, Kgs. Nytorv. The opening concert features the Hungarian pianist Julia Hamos. She has an international career under way and has won a number of important competitions. Among other things, she has taken part in Kronberg Academy Chamber Music Connects the World, and Andras Schiff has invited her to join several concert series. The festival closes with the presentation of the Talent Prize 2023, which this time is awarded to the pianist Valdemar Wenzel Most. During the spring, several of the musicians will be presented in a series of podcasts, which will, among other places, be available on YouTube. Ticket sales open in February.
