The music society Schubert Selskabet is behind Schubertiaden - Roskildes Klassiske Musikfestival
Schubert Selskabet is a society based in Roskilde that has worked since 1994 to bring classical music to a wide audience. Taking the composer Franz Schubert and the strong tradition of classical music as our starting point, we create concert experiences and outreach activities that invite children, young people and adults into the world of music.
The society is behind Schubertiaden – Roskildes klassiske musikfestival, which every August brings together professional musicians, local players and audiences for concerts and musical encounters, with high artistic quality and community as recurring themes. Besides the festival, we also organise Schubert Saloner during the year and work actively on talent development under the project name NEXT GENERATION.
Members have free admission to Schubert Saloner and receive 50% off tickets to Schubertaiden's concerts.
