Søbygaardkoncerter sommeren
11. aug. - 15. sep.
Søby Ærø
Classical music and exhibitions
Søbygaards Venner organises the Søbygaardkoncerterne with classical music as well as exhibitions at Søbygaard, Ærø, in the summer and gives the area's physical setting a cultural-historical content in keeping with the history of the place and of Ærø as a whole.
The concert programme for summer 2021 consists of 8 concerts - we begin the season with Trio Zoom and chamber music and round off in the autumn with Piazzolla and tango music through 100 years with candlelight on the tables and wine in the glasses. In between, a concert with the Artos Quartet, an exciting new Danish string quartet, music by and with the Koppel family in three generations, the world-famous Michala Petri on recorder and a lot of other exciting concerts. See the whole summer's concert programme here.
The Søbygaardkoncerterne with classical music, song and opera started back in 2000 with 4 concerts and have since been held every summer on Ærø at the old manor house Søbygaard. An overview of previous years' Søbygaardkoncerterne and concert posters can be seen here.
