DR Koncerthuset Studie 2
Emil Holms Kanal 20, 0999 København
Big-city. Rustic. And deadly cool. These are some of the hallmarks of DR Koncerthuset's Studie 2. The setting is made for both wild parties and intimate concerts.
The style is inspired by the big production studios in Hollywood. Unpolished warehouses are also among the associations when you step into the largest of the studios on the lower floor. The walls are clad with large birch-wood panels, which can be adjusted to change the reverberation.
The studio serves as both rehearsal room and concert hall and has room for 749 standing and 550 seated audience members. The stage itself is identical to the one in the Concert Hall, but the audience's fixed seats are here replaced by flexible rows of chairs.
