At Sæby kirke we stress that the music is many-sided and varied. Classical church music is unavoidable, and in the summer a rich and nuanced classical concert programme is offered, in which almost all the concerts are part of the big classical music festival Vendsyssel Festivalen. But in the rest of the year at Sæby kirke you can hear music of many kinds: popular choral music, jazz, gospel, and much other rhythmic music. We also stress that local musicians are allowed to play in the church if they have a churchly message. So you can almost find music of any kind at Sæby kirke. But the focal point is the classical music that has naturally belonged in the church for centuries
