Sanderum Kirke
Sanderumvej 144, Odense
Sanderum Kirke is the parish church of Sanderum Parish in Odense Municipality. The church was built in the Romanesque period and dedicated to the Archangel Michael, whose image can be seen in relief on the apse, just as the chancel was dedicated to him in 1503. In the late Middle Ages the church probably belonged to Dalum Kloster, which also owned most or all of the village. The church probably passed to the mint clerk Jens Lassen in 1662, when he acquired the manor Dalum Kloster, although Sanderum Kirke is not mentioned in the deed.
