Tapdrup Kirke stands in the village of Tapdrup. The church belongs to Tapdrup parish in Viborg Municipality. Its exact age is not known, but it is judged to have been built in the 1200s by a lord of the manor. The building is in Romanesque style, made of large ashlar stones (as well as fieldstones and monk bricks on the north side), with a portal consisting of six free-standing columns. The church's oldest furnishing is an incense burner, which was used for Catholic services and kept despite the Reformation. Above the chancel arch hangs a crucifix from the 1400s carved in oak. The church's Lutheran altarpiece was donated by the local manor house (Skovsgård) in 1613. The altar painting depicts the institution of the Lord's Supper and dates from 1702.
