Teater Refleksion is a curious and ambitious puppet and animation theatre that creates engaging and topical stories at both children's and adults' height. Here you meet essential and down-to-earth themes from everyday life, with room at the same time for surprises. Through the encounter with the unknown the audience is challenged and inspired, and who knows - perhaps it helps open up new ways of seeing the world.
The puppets' appearance and refined movements give the characters life. And with scenography, sound and light, beautiful visual images are painted around the stories. We strive to create an atmosphere of calm, concentration and presence. That is where the magic happens!
Popular productions such as ‘I nattens lys’, created in collaboration with Andy Manley - and a strong British team - and ‘Vejen hjem’, co-produced with the Irish Branar Téatar, have already delighted children across the globe. Teater Refleksion works in large parts of the world, - we have, among other things, played to full houses at the Sydney Opera House and on Broadway.
