Description

What happens when one of Norway's foremost violinists comes home from Denmark and brings some of the Nordic region's most beautiful string music with him? Jon Gjesme is originally from Hønefoss and is today concertmaster of both KORK and Copenhagen Phil. Together with some of the country's foremost young performers, they perform two magnificent string octets by Niels W. Gade and Johan Svendsen.
