Opera for Children: Prof. Suverenius and the Listening Horn

Description

We meet the researchers Ariosa, Instrumentellus, Suverenius and Kåre, who have invented a listening horn. Together they set out on a journey to all the world's continents to investigate and document the animals' secret song. With the help of a teleportation helmet they travel from place to place to document the life wisdom of the great Lion, the farm animals and the Asian elephant. The music is based on music by Ragnstrøm, Nystedt, Mancini and Norwegian children's songs. The children take part in both singing and movement and help the researchers in their quest. The performance lasts approx. 40 minutes. Best suited for children aged 3 and up. The children are involved in various activities throughout the performance. Opera for barna is a concert series supported by the Arts Council Norway. The only rule is that if you have received a free or very cheap ticket to a concert/performance, the registration is binding. You MUST then use your ticket or give it to a friend.
