Description
TROLSK - A family show about being different What is the trolsk? Is it the wind that tugs at things and the rustling in the dark? Is it something frightening, or can it also be beautiful? Is it perhaps just a feeling inside you? Where Kat comes from, the trolsk is seen as dangerous, and being a witch is even worse. In this concert performance we meet Kat, who has run away from her home town, a place where her mother was accused and convicted of being a witch. Kat is afraid that she has inherited her mother's trolsk powers, but she believes she has learned to catch the trolsk and lock it away inside herself. Even so, it flares up from time to time. Kat does not want to be trolsk, but she cannot help it. Is there something wrong with her? Trolsk is a performance of dance and words by Marie Skogvang Stork. The music is composed by Liv Andrea Hauge. We can almost hear the trolsk spark in the music. The different instruments of the orchestra create a world full of sounds and sonorities, power and tension. Step into a world where the beautiful can be dangerous, and the kind can be suspicious. Here we must be on our guard as we follow Kat, who grows both stronger and braver on her way to finding herself. The performance is suitable for children aged 10 and up. The performance at 15.00 is Relæxt. Relæxt concerts are open to everyone, but are specially adapted for children, adults and families who find it challenging to attend ordinary concerts.
