Christmas Calendar Concert with Kork

Description

Join us for the ultimate nostalgia trip as KORK plays music from 47 years of NRK's Christmas calendars on TV. In 1979 Norwegian children met the shoemaker Andersen, Tøfflus, Jon Blund and all the others for the very first time. From then on it was to be like this: from 1 to 24 December everyone would watch NRK's Christmas calendar. Jul i Skomakergata was gradually replaced by other calendars, and several generations of TV viewers have their own strong memories of their favourites. Not least, the music from the different Christmas calendars has left clear traces and lives on among both young and old, and one month before this year's Christmas calendar gets under way, you can relive many favourites in Store studio. There will be calendar music for a full orchestra, exciting guests and soloists. Our host is Margrethe Røed, known from countless programmes for children and young people on NRK and someone who has herself played the blue elf Turte at Oslo Nye. Welcome, all generations, to Store studio!
