Kilden teater og konserthus - Konsertsalen
Sjølystveien 2, 4610 Kristiansand
Kilden Teater og Konserthus in Kristiansand is one of the most exciting environments in the Nordic countries for professional performing arts and music. The arts centre houses Kristiansand Symfoniorkester, Kilden Teater, Kilden Opera, Kilden Kultur and an innovative take on the social side of its public mission through Kilden Dialog. Together they represent an unparalleled cultural operating concept, in one unified organisation that is also one of the country's largest houses for performing arts and music. In 2016, 190.000 audience members experienced 906 concerts, performances and events at Kilden, delivered by a diverse team representing 254 man-years and 24 nationalities.
The programme at Kilden Teater og Konserthus is rich and wide-ranging. Kristiansand Symfoniorkester, Kilden Teater and Kilden Opera fill the house with musical experiences, performing arts and drama. Kilden Kultur coordinates productions with external partners and facilitates interaction between the three other institutions. Kilden Dialog is an arena for building a bridge between audience and arts centre - and takes the experiences out to those who cannot come to Kilden.
