CONCERT @ RISØR

Description

Trio no Treble offers a concert with a different sound: viola, cello and double bass - a trio without treble, only dark voices and deep resonance. The trio consists of Ivan Penjin (viola), Eivind RossbachHeier (cello) and Jostein Bolås Brødreskift (double bass). The programme consists of music with roots in Norway, including by Edvard Grieg, and extends further from classical music to their own arrangements of well-known pop songs. Here the audience gets to hear music from Beethoven to the Beatles and Bruno Mars. Since its start in 2017, Trio no Treble has played concerts all over Norway and internationally in, among other places, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong and Nepal. The trio is known for its playful approach to classical music, folk music and spirited interpretations of recent popular music, and has made its mark in everything from festival appearances and opera to collaborations with artists such as Elisabeth «Bettan» Andreassen and Arve Tellefsen. With its warm and distinctive expression, Trio no Treble creates a concert experience that both surprises and delights. The concert is marked by close interplay, lively communication and an informal tone that makes the music accessible to everyone. Trio no Treble invites you to a varied and audience-friendly concert with music for every taste - from classical gems and folk tunes to popular songs in new arrangements. The audience can expect an atmospheric, entertaining and different concert experience
