Trio no Treble
Trio no Treble is, unconventionally, a trio of viola, cello and double bass, based in Trondheim! A trio without treble, only dark voices and deep sonority. Can it get any better?
The trio consists of Lars Marius Hølås (viola), Eivind Rossbach Heier (cello) and Jostein Bolås Brødreskift (double bass). Trio no Treble was founded in the summer of 2017, and since the start has played many successful concerts in the Trøndelag region, around Norway, and in Serbia. They have also been festival trio at Festspillene i Helgeland, and have played their own concerts in Hamar and at the Oslo Opera House, to name a few.
The trio has just released its very first album. They are known for their playful approach to folk music and classical music alike, as well as their lively interpretations of new pop music.
