Oslo-filharmonien's Chamber Series: Partners in Sound

Description

Oslo-filharmonien's Chamber Series: Partners in Sound In this chamber concert the middle register is brought to the fore, and you get to hear two works that are both about dialogue, depth and equality between the instruments. Mozart's Duo for Violin and Viola in G major, K. 423 is fantastic music with plenty of dialogue, while Brahms' String Quintet in G major, Op. 111 embraces us with its warm and rich sound. Musicians from Oslo-filharmonien invite you to an intimate concert where the middle register gets to shine. The concert springs from the musicians' own wish to explore the rich dialogues of chamber music, with the viola as an equal partner in a musical conversation. Programme: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Duo for Violin and Viola, K. 423 Johannes Brahms, String Quintet in G major, Op. 111 Performers: Brage Sæbø, violin Maria Angelica Carlsen, violin Andres Maurette O’Brian, viola Einar Kyvik Bauge, viola Louisa Tuck, cello
