Det norske damekor
Det norske damekor aims to perform choral music for equal voices at a professional and exceptionally high level. The ensemble will perform a varied repertoire, with the main emphasis on the European tradition of choral music for women's voices.
The choir is a newly founded vocal ensemble of professional singers with experience from, among others: Det Norske Solistkor, Trondheim Vokalensemble, Vokal Nord,
Vocal Art, as well as work as soloists.
The ensemble will operate at a high, professional level, and not least fill a gap in Norwegian choral life:
A professional women's choir with the highest artistic ambitions. The artistic director is Nina T. Karlsen.
