With best wishes for a good new concert year, we put a twist on the concert guide of the month, as this month's recommendations come from Daniel Lyngstad, who runs Live Klassisk in Norway.
Besides having helped to start and run Live Klassisk, I am a violinist - day to day in the Opera Orchestra at Den Norske Opera & Ballett, I also run the festival Interpuls in Kulturkirken Jakob, I am passionate about making classical music accessible, and I play baroque violin.
I am sure I am not the only one with a New Year's wish to spend less time in front of a screen and more on real experiences - I think no one will regret seeking out even more concerts in the year ahead!
Now that the fireworks from the many New Year's concerts around the country have died down, some of my personal concert recommendations for January follow.
Enjoy, and a very good new concert year!
