Reverberation

Description

Something remains. A note, a movement, a rhythm - memories surface from tiny triggers, like traces of something that has been, but still works in us. In this programme we move through different spaces of sound and presence. From the open and listening quality of the new, to the more concentrated and human quality of rhythms and patterns that have lived long before us. Along the way the centre of gravity shifts, and the music takes on a new meaning and can be listened to in a different way. What is experienced as personal becomes shared, and what seems distant suddenly becomes close and bodily. Perhaps it is precisely in these shifts that something arises - connections we cannot quite explain, but which we can feel. What remains is a reverberation.
