Hjertnes kulturhus consists of a main hall used for orchestral and chamber concerts. For orchestral concerts the hall's orchestral shell is used, and for chamber concerts the musicians usually play in front of the safety curtain. Both make for maximum use of the hall's magnificent acoustics.
