Hungarian/Danish organ concert with Hedvig Dobias The concert features music by: J. S. Bach, Bjarne Hersbo and Jehan Alain. Hedvig Dobias was born in Kecskemét in Hungary – the same town as the famous composer Zoltán Kodály. She comes from a musical family, and it was therefore natural that already at the age of five she began at the Kodály School in Kecskemét. The school offers not only ordinary schooling but also an extensive musical education. Her talent led to her being admitted at the age of 18 to the renowned Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, where the organ became her main subject. Five years later she completed her diploma examination. After her diploma from Syddansk Musikkonservatorium she made her debut from the soloist class at Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen. Today Hedvig Dobias is organist at Odense Domkirke and Gråbrødre Klosterkirke.
