Mendelssohn Paulus

Description

Melodic beauty in Mendelssohn's ’Paulus’ Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's oratorio ’Paulus’ is one of the most significant works within the Romantic oratorio tradition. Mendelssohn's music is beautiful, grand, heartfelt and expressive, and 'Paulus' is in our view a work that deserves a much more central role than it has. So come and have a tremendous experience with the large choir and orchestra. We look forward to welcoming you to the concerts. The soloists in Mendelssohn's 'Paulus' are: Katinka Bohse Meyer (soprano), Gustav Wenzel Most (tenor) & Teit Kanstrup (bass). Københavns Kantatekor og -orkester is conducted by Torben H.S. Svendsen.
