Market Day Concert: ”Bach’s Best - Sorrow and Joy”

Description

Organist Vibeke Astner Market Day Concerts every Saturday at 12 in October and November. Free admission. Half an hour of wonderful classical music by professional musicians. Saturday 31.10. ”Bach’s Best - Sorrow and Joy” Skt. Lukas kirke's organist, Vibeke Astner, will play some of Johann Sebastian Bach's best-known and best-loved organ works at a series of concerts over the next year, under the title ”Bach’s Best”. As a prelude to All Saints, the impressive Prelude and Fugue in E minor sounds in fine contrast to other of the composer's beautiful and reflective organ pieces.
