Music for All Saints

Description

Fredensborg Kammerkor and Blaagaard Kammerkor under the direction of Gorm Larsen and Mie Korp Sloth The most beautiful choral works for All Saints will resound in Fredensborg Slotskirke and Søborg kirke, when two choirs with more than 50 singers give a concert together. Blaagaard Kammerkor, under the direction of Gorm Larsen, and Fredensborg Kammerkor, under the direction of Mie Korp Sloth, sing works by Mendelssohn, Schütz, Nystedt, Whitacre and others. The two choirs also perform separately with a number of movements in the a cappella concert, and although the two classical choirs normally give concerts separately, it is a motivation and a mutual pleasure to lift the great choral works together. Over the years since their student days, the two conductors have had many musical collaborations, and so it felt both natural and uncomplicated to throw themselves into a joint choral project. Fredensborg Kammerkor has existed for 5 years and was formed on the initiative of Mie Korp Sloth, organist of the Fredensborg churches. Gorm Larsen took up the post of conductor of Blaagaard Kammerkor in 2025, after the choir has existed for more than 50 years. Admission to the concert is free and doors open 30 min before the concert. Price: Free
