All Saints' Concert - J.S. Bach - The Art of Fugue

Description

J.S. Bach - The Art of Fugue Jesper René, piano Die Kunst der Fuge - The Art of Fugue - is one of the most iconic works in music history. The work, which Bach began in 1748 but did not manage to complete before his death in 1750, consists of a series of fugues and canons written on the same theme, and shows his phenomenal abilities as the greatest master of the art of fugue. Jesper René is known for his meditative concerts of Bach's music and has toured with several of the composer's great works, including the Goldberg Variations and Die Wohltemperiertes Klavier.
