After-Work Concert: It's just SOOO Baroque

Description

At the concert you will hear Baroque music on the typical Baroque instrument: the recorder. On this day in a solo concert, performing classical music by both J. S. Bach and G. Ph. Telemann, and more folk-style music from Denmark and Ireland. It is a programme that, with Baroque music as its starting point, covers a wide range of expression and tone colours on many different recorders. The programme will also include a small, more recent tribute to the instrument: original music for recorder, written at the end of the 1900s by the German composer and recorder player Markus Zahnhausen.
