Description
Concert with Ensemble Storstrøm. „Swan Song“ is the overall title of the concert, named after Per Nørgård's (1932-2023) captivating „Swan descending“ for solo harp, which is played after the interval midway through the programme. Beforehand we will have heard, among other things, romantic music from Bohemia: Bedrich Smetana's (1824-84 ) Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15 for piano, violin and cello. The concert ends with Sergei Prokofiev's (1891- 1953) „ Romeo and Juliet Suite“, Op. 64.
