Early Music Project: The Timeless Flute

Description

Early Music Project warmly welcomes you to the concert series The Timeless Flute, where we look forward to presenting all of J.S. Bach's flute sonatas with Winnie Bugge Frandsen on baroque flute and Søren Gleerup Hansen on harpsichord. We hope you will come and experience Bach's flute sonatas in intimate and relaxed surroundings. Winnie and Søren play on historical instruments, and although the works are designated flute sonatas, both the baroque flute and the harpsichord play equal roles in the music. It is through the interplay between the musicians, the instruments, and Bach's quirky polyphony that the music is allowed to ring, shine and dance in the room - let yourself be swept away! After the concert there will be an opportunity to talk with the musicians. They are happy to tell you about the interplay and collaboration, baroque music or everything that is special about the historical instruments. Tickets are bought at the door. Free admission.
