The Raphaëlis Organ – the world heritage under the vaults of the Cathedral Experience beautiful sounds filling the great church space, when Roskilde Domkirke invites you to atmospheric organ concerts. We invite a world-class soloist to play on the historic baroque organ. At the organ concert you can follow the organist's playing on a screen beneath the organ, and after the concert there is an opportunity to meet the day's soloist. Experience Lene Rasmussen on the Raphaëlis organ The year's last organ concert takes the audience into the intense emotional world of the early Italian Baroque, where music and text merge into a living and expressive whole. The Cathedral's own organist Lene Rasmussen plays with one of the Cathedral's own singers, the young soprano Marie Nevers, and Denmark's leading cornett player Lene Langballe. Experience an atmospheric concert in which the soprano's clear sound is united with the warm and human tone of the cornett, as well as the rich colours of the organ. The trio plays, among other things, works by Merula, Donatis and Monteverdi. A sound world that brings us close to the music that might have sounded in Italian churches and princely halls almost 400 years ago. Ticket price: 50 kr. Pay by card or cash at the door.
