The Nine Lessons
Description
Advent and Christmas are traditionally sung in with “The Nine Lessons”, in which we hear 9 short readings from the Bible, from the Creation to the birth of Jesus. Between the readings you can hear Viby Folkekor, the Girls’ Choir and the Church Choir sing. There will be Christmas music and music that fits the different readings. After about an hour in the church everyone is invited across to the parish hall, where the Christmas songbooks are laid out, and coffee and cake can be bought for 30 kr. Come and feel the community in this very special time.
