Young People Play Classical

Description

After preliminary rounds in East and West Jutland, 20 of Region Midtjylland's most talented young classical musicians gather for a festive final in Lille Sal in Musikhuset Aarhus. At the concert each participant presents a programme of 7 min., and judges from Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium award a number of prizes. Many of the participants over the years have since gone on to fine careers as professional musicians in Denmark and abroad. The event is a collaboration between Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, Musikhuset and Aarhus Musikskole. The concert is free, and you can simply turn up without a ticket. Come in good time.
