Messiah

Description

Everyone knows the Hallelujah Chorus, and for many a Christmas without Messiah by George Frideric Handel is unthinkable. Now you can experience the Christmas classic in an intimate and intense interpretation, when conductor Bo Holten, together with the vocal ensemble Musica Ficta, performs the work in collaboration with musicians from Camerata Øresund. The 8 singers act both as soloists and choir singers and create a living, transparent sound in which every detail stands out clearly. The result is a Messiah as intimate chamber music with compelling energy, crisp Baroque sound and a clarity that brings the music right up close to the audience. Programme: Handel / Messiah
