Sing Along Messiah

Description

Kammerkoret Musica with orchestra. Soprano: Helena Zukule, Alto: Anne-Sofie Søby Jensen, Tenor: Kristian Bordoy, Bass: Albin Ahl Join in and sing Handel's magnificent Hallelujah chorus! We have taken inspiration from the USA and England, where performing a "Sing Along Messiah" is a fixed and very popular tradition – a tradition that Musica started in Denmark in 2025. The audience is invited to sing along on eight movements, including of course the "Hallelujah Chorus" - the rest is performed by Kammerkoret Musica. The solo parts are sung by professional singers, and it is all accompanied by Kammerorkestret Musica. The concert will thus be a mix of a traditional concert experience and a "sing-along edition". We perform an abridged version of "Messiah" (about two hours including interval) with a focus on the best-known movements. You need no special qualifications to sing along, and you can also take part as an ordinary audience member without singing.
