Arild Kvartetten
In 2018 Arild Kvartetten could celebrate its 10th anniversary with Beethoven's complete string quartets in a series of 24 concerts in all.
Since its debut Arild Kvartetten has made its mark among the leading Danish chamber ensembles and has won much praise for its mature and noble playing style. The quartet's members are all experienced chamber musicians from Det Kongelige Kapel and DR SymfoniOrkestret.
Arild Kvartetten performs regularly on the Danish chamber music scene, and has toured in Brazil, Greece, Scotland, Finland and Sweden.
The quartet has recorded music by the Danish romantics C.F.E. Horneman and Asger Hamerik for Dacapo Records.
