Symphonic Morning

Description

Step into the engine room and watch the orchestra and conductor at work on the final preparations before a concert. On four Thursday mornings you can experience the first part of the dress rehearsal ahead of the evening's concert. Some dress rehearsals run without interruption. At other times you may see the conductor stop along the way if there are a few details that need to be put in place before the evening's concert. Exactly which part of the evening's concert will be played this morning is only decided during the course of the week, but most often it will be the works that can also be heard in the first half in the evening. The audience meets in the Øvre Foyer half an hour before the dress rehearsal begins, for a short introduction, before heading into the hall to the 2nd balcony, from which the first part of the dress rehearsal is observed.
