MAM'ZELLE NITOUCHE …… causes havoc in the convent!

Description

A comic staging of the classic operetta from 1883. It will be hilariously funny, offbeat, sparkling and musically first-class when the old classic operetta from 1883 is dusted off and sent through Figaros' crazy wringer. Behind the convent walls, the organist Celestin hides his true identity as the composer Floridor, while Mam'zelle Nitouche dreams of life in showbiz. When the singer Deloris Van Cartier - disguised as a nun - seeks refuge in the convent, things really go wrong. Complications, hidden identities and an entire regiment of Guards hussars will get the pulse racing for both the audience and the four performers, who play, sing and dance all the roles. As always, it is all delivered in a festive blend of operetta, musical, soul and swing! Performers: Lisbeth Kjærulff, Kristian Jensen and Jakob Weble, and pianist Allan Dahl Hansen. Producer: Figaros and Den Ny Opera. Duration: 130 minutes with an interval.
