Dive into the Depths of the Sea

Description

Crusell Trio tirelessly continues its exploratory journey into the music for clarinet, horn and bassoon by forgotten and unknown composers. Right down in the capsized dreams of the Bermuda Triangle we find the music of the American Thurner and Wilfried Roberts. Along the way in this hunt, we ourselves are discovered and begin to have music sent to us by the German Jörg Duda, which we gladly perform for the audience. This joy is only increased by discovering that the Italian master Rossini composed a completely overlooked work originally for our instrumentation. Come to a concert where enthusiasm for music and the joy of playing are at the centre, and which may also lead to some fun moments outside the familiar concert format. We have also been allowed to give the world premiere of the innovative Australian composer Peter Morrison's Trio, written especially for Crusell Trio. Programme: Jörg Duda: Red Autum Op. 37b Thurner: Trio Op. 56 Rossini: Trio Interval Wilfred Roberts: Miniatures Wilfred Roberts: A day in the Country Peter Morrision: Trio (2026) world premiere Community singing
